Admission Requirements

Phuti-Nare Secondary School admits learners from Grade 8 to Grade 10. To ensure a smooth admission process, the following documents are required:

1. First-time entry: Grade 7 → Grade 8

  • Completed application form
  • Copy of learner’s birth certificate
  • Copy of parent/guardian’s ID
  • Original Grade 7 Term 4 report confirming the learner is promoted to the next grade

2. Repeating Grade 8 learners

  • Completed application form
  • Transfer letter
  • Copy of learner’s birth certificate
  • Copy of parent/guardian’s ID

3. Grade 9 and Grade 10 learners

  • Completed application form
  • Transfer letter
  • Copy of learner’s birth certificate
  • Copy of parent/guardian’s ID

Application Process
  • Parents or guardians must visit the school in person.
  • The administration clerk will issue the application form and assist with completing it.
  • No online applications are accepted — all forms must be hand-delivered to the school.
  • To accommodate unexpected or urgent admissions, the school does not enforce strict application deadlines.
Important Dates
  • Applications Open: Beginning of Term 3
  • Applications Close: Admissions remain open into Term 1 of the following year
